Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This site is run by 22Digital Media, Inc., a California corporation, working as Rene CEO and Business Renaissance.
If you want to reach a human about anything on this page, use the contact form. It goes straight to us and it’s the fastest way to get an answer.
The short version
Read the site and we don’t ask you for anything. Take the fit check and we keep your answers plus, if you pass, the name and email you type in — because that’s how we prepare for your call. We don’t run ads, we don’t set advertising or tracking cookies, we don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone whose job isn’t running this site or this business.
What we collect when you’re just reading
We don’t ask you for anything, and you don’t have to give us anything.
Our host records the normal things a web server records to serve a page and keep the site up: your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser and device type, the site that referred you, and similar request details.
We also run privacy-friendly page analytics on every page. It counts page views and where visitors came from. It does not use cookies, and we do not use it to build a profile of you or to follow you to other websites.
If something on the site breaks, our error monitoring records the failure so we can fix it. An error report can contain the page you were on, your browser and device, and technical details of what went wrong.
What we collect when you take the fit check
The fit check at /work-with-rene asks about your business: team size, whether you’d work with a remote team, where you are with AI, what kind of business you run, where you’re losing the most, how documented your processes are, and similar questions we may add as we sharpen it. You can start it without giving us anything, and while you’re still answering, your answers live only in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off.
If the fit check says you’re a fit, we ask for your first name, your email address, and — optionally — your business website, along with any similar contact or business fields we may add to that step later. When you submit that, your answers and your contact details are saved together in our customer records so we can prepare for your call and follow up with you. That happens whether or not you go on to book.
If the fit check says you’re not a fit, nothing is sent to us unless you choose to leave your email address. If you do, we save that email along with your answers and the reason the fit check said “not yet”.
What we collect when you book a call
Booking runs on our own scheduling system at book.22d.dev. When you book, we receive your name, email address, your chosen time and time zone, and your answers to the booking questions — currently your business website and what you’d want to fix, plus anything else the booking form asks at the time. Those get added to the record the fit check already created for you.
What we collect when you message us
If you send us a message through our contact form, we keep the name and email address you give us, the reason you picked, whatever you put in the message, and any other details relevant to your enquiry that you choose to include. It goes into the same customer records the fit check writes to, and it reaches us by email from there. We keep it as long as we need it to deal with what you wrote about.
If you email us directly instead, we have your email address and your message the same way, and we treat it the same way.
What we don’t do
- We don’t set advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any cross-site tracking on this site. There are none on it today.
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t rent or trade it.
- We don’t share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
- We don’t run ad networks, social media tracking pixels, or session-replay recording.
- We don’t ask for, take, or store payment details on this site.
Cookies and what’s stored in your browser
This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything.
Two things are saved in your own browser’s storage. They stay on your device, we can’t read them from our end, and you can clear them any time by clearing your browser’s site data:
dh-scheme-pref(local storage) — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.fitcheck:v1(session storage) — holds your in-progress fit-check answers so a refresh doesn’t lose them. It disappears when you close the tab.
Who else handles your information
Running this site and this business takes a small number of outside services. We describe them by category rather than by brand, because the specific provider in a category can change — when it does, the description below stays true. Each category only gets what it needs to do its job. Each one handles your information on our behalf and on our instructions, and none of them is permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Hosting and content delivery — serves the pages, images, and files the site is made of, and routes our domains. Gets everything a web request carries: IP address, the page requested, browser and device, referrer. Currently Vercel for the site itself, and Cloudflare for domain routing and for the images and files we serve from
media.22d.dev. - Page analytics — tells us which pages people read. Gets page views, referrer, browser and device type. No cookies. Currently Vercel Web Analytics.
- Error monitoring — alerts us when the site breaks. Gets error details, the page it happened on, your browser and device. Currently Sentry.
- Customer records (CRM) — holds your fit-check answers, your contact details, your business website, what you want to fix, and the working notes we keep to prepare for and follow up on a call, plus similar fields we may add as we work. Currently Twenty, running on our own server.
- Scheduling — runs the booking calendar. Gets your name, email, chosen time and time zone, and your booking answers. Currently Cal.com, running on our own server.
- Email delivery — carries email between you and us, including anything you send through the contact form and anything we send back. Gets your email address and the contents of the message.
We may change the provider in any of those categories — for cost, reliability, or because something better comes along. When we do, the category and what it receives stay as described here; we’ll update the named examples on this page and change the date at the top.
The scheduling and customer-record systems are currently our own installations on our own server — they are not the hosted commercial versions of those products, and no third-party company receives your booking or CRM data through them.
Beyond that, we’ll only hand over your information if the law requires it, or if we ever sell or transfer the business — in which case it moves with the business and this policy still applies until you’re told otherwise.
Where your information lives
Our host runs in the United States, and our booking and customer-record servers are on hardware in the United States. If you’re reading this from outside the US, your information is processed in the US.
How long we keep it
- Fit-check and booking records stay in our customer records for as long as you’re a prospect or a client, and for our own business records after that. We don’t run an automatic deletion schedule, so if you want your record gone sooner, ask us and we’ll delete it.
- In-progress fit-check answers in your browser vanish when you close the tab. A short-lived copy on our server expires one hour after you submit.
- Analytics, error reports, and server logs are held by the services above under their own retention schedules. Those windows are set by those services, not by us.
- Contact-form messages sit in our customer records alongside the record they belong to, and in our mailbox, until we clear them out.
- Email stays in our mailbox until we clear it out.
Seeing, correcting, or deleting what we have
Send us a message through our contact form and ask — pick “Privacy or data request” so it goes to the front of the queue. You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- send you a copy of it,
- correct anything that’s wrong,
- delete it,
- or stop emailing you.
We’ll do it, and we won’t charge you or make you jump through hoops. Give us a reasonable window to get to it — we’re a small operation. We may need to check you are who you say you are before we hand anything over.
If you’re in the EU, the UK, California, or somewhere else with its own privacy law, you may have additional rights under it. Tell us through the contact form and we’ll honour them the same way.
If we’re emailing you and you want us to stop, say so through the contact form and we’ll take you off. If an email we send carries an unsubscribe link, that works too.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn’t for children, we don’t market to them, and we don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16. If you think a child has given us information, tell us through the contact form and we’ll delete it.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to our customer records and booking system is restricted to us. We don’t take payment details on this site, so there are none to lose.
No one can promise a system is unbreakable, and we won’t pretend otherwise — but we don’t collect more than we need, which is the best protection there is.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is a significant one, we’ll say so clearly rather than quietly editing a line.
